Marie is expecting her third boy and came by our studio to capture this special stage of life. She wanted something subtly sensual so we came up with a few ideas for her session. We enjoy the challenge of coming up with flattering lighting and creative poses with maternity. We met Angie and her family at a birthday party several years ago. When they came in for their session last week they told us that they’ve been following our blog since then and saying to themselves that they should come in for a session. Niki, Shawn + Brenna met us on a trail in Chilliwack by the Veddar River for some fun, relaxed maternity photography. Niki is 36 weeks pregnant + looks amazing! We photographed her when she was expecting Brenna + also for some newborn portraits.
It’s amazing to see how much has changed in just under a year and a half. Brenna is now on the go and is interested in + exploring everything around her. We’re looking forward to photographing her with her little brother or sister in a few weeks.

Kim is one hot mama! Woo wee! She originally came to us for photos of her first child 2 years ago (has it really been that long already?) and we’ve enjoyed being in contact with her over the years. Only a few more weeks and Angele will finally meet the baby who’s been growing in her for 35 weeks. She wanted some creative and natural maternity photography so we took her out to a field and forest in Abbotsford. We also included big sister Emerson in a few of the pictures. And without further delay because I suspect Angele’s been checking the blog every day since her session here are a few of our favorites ….
