Last night we were part of an art show in a gorgeous, modern home up the hill from us. It was an excellent evening with delightful conversations, wine, cheese, art and music in beautiful surroundings.

Running a photography studio requires a balance between being a business person and being an artist. So to be invited to let the artist side come out more is always a treat. I think that Jason hasn’t had an art show since we had kids. So after our book launch, we put together some new art pieces and were excited with how they turned out.

The show will be open throughout the week and you can view it Monday to Saturday, 2 – 4:30pm and Sun, 2 – 4pm. Our pieces will come down on Saturday as we have a private event on Sunday that they’ll make an appearance at.

The home is absolutely stunning and is currently for sale by David Shieh. It has vaulted ceilings, stunning views and a rooftop patio. *sigh*

One of the pieces that we put together for the show called “Liquidity”. Red is Jason’s favorite colour and one day he decided to try some experiments in the bathroom photographing different liquids. The final piece is a combination of several different images.
