Denise Lafortune, the artistic director and principal at the Academy of Classical Ballet in Abbotsford does an amazing job training her ballet dancers. Many of her students will be doing their Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet examinations this weekend and I (Darcie) will be playing piano for them. Here are some of the Grade 8 dancers doing an arabesque line from their barre work. This picture will be made into a canvas that will hang in the dance studio.

The go fusion Total Makeover Challenge is only a few more weeks and we’re amazed at how much each woman has accomplished in such a short time. On Monday they went to Speranza to have their hair cut and coloured and their make up done before heading to our studio for another photoshoot. Here are some of the pictures …
The voting will be online on Friday and we will post a link on this post. There is also a Total Makeover Fashion Show on April 27th at 7:30 - 9:30 at the Rendezvous Restaurant in Abbotsford. Tickets are $20 each and 50% of the net proceeds will go to the Abbotsford Regional Hospital Pediatric Ward. Clothing will be provided by Pistachio, Ronald Allan, The Running Room and Gabby’s Ladies Fashions.
