Here’s a scene we saw at a recent portrait session:

That snow has come and gone, but the forecast is for more snow tonight. Yeah!

Isn’t it great when you can find something for yourself that he’ll think is for him? That’s what our intimate sessions are like. You will be treated to a classy and glamorous photo session and both of you will enjoy the end product of sensual portraits.

Erin came to our studio from some maternity portraits when she was 30 weeks pregnant. She has two daughters and already knows that this baby is going to be a little boy. The count down until he arrives is on!

Erin had some great ideas and brought some fun clothes along for her maternity session. She is one hot Mama and knows how to rock her heels. We always love it when our clients contribute some ideas and then trust us to add our own flair to them. Here are a few of our favorites …

Do you need updated headshots for your business? We are running a headshot promotion on January 30th, where we will waive the $100 session fee if you bring a friend and both have professional studio headshots done.

At your session, Jason will do your headshots then immediately show them to you so you can choose your favorites. Your favorites will be emailed to you within two weeks once they have been retouched.

Revival Arts Studio’s busiest time of year is always November + December. In January things slow down and we love to take a step back and plan out the next year. This year, one of our plans is to send out a monthly newsletter.

The newsletter will have featured products, a client corner, photography tips, upcoming events and a few of our favorite photographs. To kick off our first month back on the newsletter bandwagon, we have a sweet coupon on the bottom.

Misty + Chris came to our studio for an intimate session documenting their love and sense of expectation around the arrival of their child. They had some great ideas so we were able to try out some new things. Misty is a midwife at the Moonwater Birthing and Wellness Centre in Fort Langley. Dania used to be one of Darcie’s piano students and now admits to frequenting our blog to keep up on Abbotsford happenings. She currently lives in Australia where she met and fell in love with her tall, dark and handsome Australia husband, Andrew. Dania and Andrew decided to leave their summer to get married in our winter.

The ceremony and reception were at Beach Grove Golf Club where Dania’s grandparents are members. We are always thankful to be able to work in beautiful locations during winter when we’re more likely to be photographing indoors. Here are a few of our favorites …

We were told that the first kiss was important to photograph as it was their first kiss on the lips. We took lots of pictures of the first one and the many that followed throughout the day.

We have put the finishing touches on our How to Take Better Photographs class and have two spots left.
