We had a great time doing photography with Dennis + Renee in Fort Langley, BC. The wedding party was relaxed and there were so many amazing locations in the historic town to take pictures. We managed to visit City Hall, Gasoline Alley, the old train station, several other buildings and Planet Java.
Like always, it was incredibly hard to narrow down the wedding portraits to a few to blog. Here are our favorites…

Jason and Emmy had their wedding this weekend at Northview Community Church in Abbotsford, BC. They had been expectantly awaiting this day and enjoyed celebrating their love and life together with family and friends.
The Future
by Emmy
I wouldn’t miss this for anything,
I don’t want to miss your smile.
Your time has come to stay.
Together we will face a new day.
I will love you ’till the end of the age,
I will love you until you are old,
And even when you start forgetting my name.
I will never tire of reminding you
That you are precious to me.
I can’t imagine my life without you.

We enjoy using infrared film in our portrait photography. Recently we received the disappointing news that infrared film has been discontinued so Jason’s been stocking up. If you want to read more about infrared photography, check out this article. If you just want to look at some pictures, scroll down to see some recent sessions…

Xander’s long awaited sandbox took shape on Monday morning. I’m not much into the getting hands dirty sort of work, but I enjoyed putting the sandbox together. It was a huge hit – the neighborhood kids were in it before the last bag of sand were poured in.
Here’s some images:

Even Lexi watched the great event

A happy Xander

Jason photographed Scott and Tara for their engagement portrait session at the farm where they live in Abbotsford, BC. We did some photos of them in the old barn and then headed back to one of their favorite spots in their field. We’re looking forward to photographing their wedding on 7/7/7. Here are some of our favorites…

Vienna and Max came for their portrait session at Fish Trap Creek in Abbotsford. Vienna brought her usual enthusiasm, vibrancy and cute piggy tails. Max brought his appetite and ability to nap through anything. Of course this made for adorable pictures of each of them doing what they enjoy the most. Here are a few of our favorites…

I had another leisure shoot, this time at a nursery which was quite a change from the used auto parts lot. The bright sun, blue sky and colorful florals helped to make some great images.
Thanks to Brenda at Tanglebank for letting me roam freely around her property.
Here are some favorites from the day:

The whole works may be viewed as under ’slide show’ on our website, www.rablog.ca. The password is ‘tangle’.
