Do you have a yellow chair lurking in a corner of your house waiting to be rediscovered? We have a session coming up that could bring it the fame it has been longing for. We will need to borrow it for a day for a shoot we’re doing for a singer’s CD. Please send us an email or give us a call at 604-864-6339 if you can help us out.

Janice brought the men in her life (Mike + Keoni) along to her maternity session. Their family will be growing pretty soon as she is 38 weeks pregnant.

I met Janice at her business, Healthy Helpings, in Langley. If you are looking for yummy, healthy food that is simple to prepare, you have to check them out. They help you assemble wholesome meals that you can pop in your freezer for busy evenings when you don’t know what to make. Our favorites this month were the Guilt-Free Fish and Yam Fries and the Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Tenderloin.

Andrea and Gord brought 12 day old Benjamin by for his first photo session with us. He’s a big boy. At birth weighed in at 8 lbs. 12 oz. and has definitely gained weight since then. He’s a cutey and enjoys being snuggled. Here are a few of our favorites…

Deanne is expecting her third daughter so we decided to go with a pink theme for her maternity portrait session. Desneige of Desneige Memory Castings did the adorable hand prints of Aisha and Avery on her tummy. The girls were enthusiastic and Deanne is beautiful. Here are a few of our favorites…

When people view Jason’s photography they often remark that it is artistic. I always think to myself that he comes by it honestly. Jason’s father is an amazing painter who finds inspiration on his many sailing expeditions along the West Coast. After a long hiatus to raise two sons and to pursue a career as a train engineer, he has picked up his paintbrushes again and is exploring the world of acrylic paint. This is his first acrylic painting…

We woke up to sunshine warming our bedroom and Xander cheerfully showing us his lego and decided that it would be the perfect day to take photos of our kids. By the time everyone ate, got ready and we drove to our location it was c-c-cold, windy and rainy. So we ended up with unhappy kids crying in the corner…

Lexi warmed to the idea a little. (She’s 9 months.)

Xander eventually started hamming it up. (He’s 4 years.)

AJ had his one year urban portrait session in the heart of downtown Abbotsford. He came dressed in a little skateboarder top and Converse All Stars and brought along his stuffed monkey stand in (the real monkey no longer makes public appearances).
We photographed AJ’s parents’ wedding a few years ago and think AJ looks a lot like Daddy. Remember the groom in the kilt and the bride holding a bouquet in front of an iron gate? That was Richard and Sonja.
Here are some favorites from AJ’s session:

We started our 2007 wedding season with Charis and Randy’s wedding this weekend. Charis looked adorable in her gorgeous gown and Randy was dashing in his tails. They were completely relaxed and enjoyed each other and every moment of the day.
What will make this wedding extra memorable for us and everyone else involved was the buckets of rain that came down all day. When we started taking photos at 11:00am we had already had 35mm. Does anyone know what the grand total was for the day?
It was hard to narrow down the photos in order to post a few here. We had so much fun and Jason took tons of amazing photographs. Here are a few of our favorites that give you a glimpse into this special day…
