The pressure was on to come up with something fresh and new for the Davis family. They’ve been using us to take pictures since we figured out how to load the film in our first camera. Here’s what we came up with recently on a beautiful fall day…

Last weekend, my family [Darcie] took advantage of the lovely fall weather and had our portraits done. This is always the toughest photo session of the year for Jason as he’s not just The Photographer to us and doesn’t get as much respect and cooperation from us.
He also gets a workout running from the camera to the family each time too. It is entertaining and produces some nice natural laughs and smiles. Here are a few of our favorites…

Carrie + Kevin’s album was shown this weekend at the Fraser Valley Bridal Fair in Langley at the brand new Langley Golf and Banquet Centre. It received hundreds of rave reviews. I’m tempted to write about the flattering comments we received, but it’s a lot more fun to see it yourself. This weekend we managed to fit in 4 portrait sessions on Saturday. Our first was Doug + Andrea with their three children at Trethewey House on Mill Lake in Abbotsford. The scenery was colourful, the weather was wonderful and the children were fun and easy going. Here are a few of our favorites…

Olivia had her first birthday and as a Lifetime Portrait Club member, she received a free session. She was the first to try out our little, red couch. Here are a few of our favorite portraits…
We went to the Chilliwack’s Original Corn MAiZE.

This weekend Jason played keyboards for Bassic Sax Jazz Ensemble at the Ramada Inn for the Red Hat Society’s fashion show. Of course he brought the camera and managed to snap a few photos in between songs…
