A 5-week course on inner and outer beauty finished with a photoshoot for nine young women at Unity Christian School in Chilliwack, BC.

A recent engagement session with Sarah and Scott on her parent’s farm. Great location and weather made for an awesome variety of imagery.

My brother-in-law Dan, and Nikki tied the knot May 20th. The day was a blast – from the time hair was getting done in the morning at the Lady Bug Studio, until the crazyness on the dance floor at the Mission Best Western!

Today is not only my brother-in-law’s wedding but it is also my brother’s birthday!

As I type, I can’t help but think about the early years when we often picked fights for no reason – and then look at how we’ve grown up.

I also remember how you eventually left home and joined me in a new condo/apartment. I may not have thought it at the time, but you were the best roommate I had while living on my own (besides the one I am married to of course!)

It’s great to see where you are going in your life. All the best for your year ahead! Happy b-day!

And I am totally looking forward to photographing it!

I had the privilege of photographing the latest home of Casbah Day Spa in White Rock, BC. The new location is simply beautiful, and worth checking out even to just experience the space! And while you’re there, you can be treated to the variety of items on their menu of spa treatments.

We had a fine time at the Wine Festival last Saturday. The wine, the hors d’oeuvres, the dessert….mmmm. It was also a great time to see some familiar faces and meet some new people as well.

Our playing went very well – I would say it was our best performance yet – even including rehearsals! It was a treat to hear and see some other performers: Jane Murray did an excellent show, and the Nucleus Fire Dancers were amazing.
